We bought bunk beds for Gina and Andrew about a month ago but they have been sitting in boxes in our dining room ever since. The kids have been sleeping on mattresses on the floor with Dylan in the crib in the meantime but that arrangement was getting pretty old.
This weekend Vic started to put the bed together. It also has three drawers underneath that had to be assembled so it took some time as the kids kept interrupting the process. Tonight the bed was finally in one piece and the kids were so excited. Dylan can easily climb to the top bunk which may pose a safety issue but for tonight they all had fun trying it out. When it was time for bed though, they had great difficulty settling down. I finally had to banish Andrew to our bed so that they would all go to sleep.
